Race of Asmat BY: THEO RIFAI (ULANGAN)

Race of Asmat is a race in Papua. The Asmat’s race famous with unique relief’s on wood. This population divided two, there are race who life in the beach and race who live in the jungle. The twice population other differ in dialect, live, and structure of social. In the Asmat’s race divided again. There are Race of Bisman who life in the between Sinesty’s river and Nin’s river and Race of Simai.
Asmat’s race has unearthly culture. The unhealthiest is the ways to kill his enemy’s.
When the enemy’s has killed, they bring it return to the village. And than the cut it becomes many paths, and they divide it to all people to eat. They sing song of dead and his behead. His brain warped by leaves of sago. They will eat this brain before burned.
Now, about 100 to 1000 people life in the one village. In the one village have one Bujang’s house and family’s home. House of Bujang used to ceremony of cultures and ceremony of religion. The house of family has bathroom and kitchen. The children in Asmat’s race have studied in the school.
